The M3 eTicket® is a super slim, rugged PDA designed for payment transactions and validations. With its ruggedness and many integrated options the M3 eTicket is the perfect handheld for fare collection in public transportation.
The rugged design and IP64-rating ensure protection against dust, moisture and extreme temperatures, from -20°C up to 50°C. The M3 eTicket can handle drops from 1.5 m to concrete across a wide temperature range, reducing equipment and maintenance costs.
This small and lightweight mobile computer features many advanced data capture options. The built-in smart card reader supports various ISO14443 type A/B RFID devices, including the entire MIFAREŽ family. The contactless electronic link between the card and the reader allows for the fast interface that is needed in security and payment systems.
The M3 eTicket also comes with integrated Bluetooth, 802.11b/g wireless, Camera and GSM/EDGE, which offers flexible voice and data communication. An option of integrated high-quality laser scanner provides easy reading of all common barcodes.
The M3 eTicket runs on the Windows CE.NET 5.0 operating system with a powerful Intel X-scale PXA270 520 MHz processor, a 128 MB SDRAM and a 256 MB of Flash storage. The integrated Mini-SD (Secure Digital) slot gives you an extra storage option.
The colour display includes a touchscreen and the ergonomic keypad is easy to use in tough environments, even with only one hand. To enhance your mobility, the M3 eTicket provides a slim hot-swappable battery. A desktop cradle can charge the M3 eTicket plus an extra battery and can also communicate with other devices through USB.
